About
How a Reddit post about Replit started a software studio.
We started Asymmetrica because most software made for businesses is either too rigid (off-the-shelf SaaS that pretends every operation looks the same) or too expensive (consultancy work that bills enterprise rates for solutions a small team could build). We sit somewhere in the middle — a studio model. Two builders, in Goa, making things that get used.
The short origin
Sarat started coding from zero at 5:30 AM on May 15, 2025 — a random Reddit post about Replit was the catalyst. He'd been trying to build a party game called Strangers After Hours using AI for a few days; the day he found Replit, it just worked. Four hours in, he was hooked forever.
Rahul joined later — an English Lit grad obsessed with minimalist Japanese architecture and AI tooling — to drive the implementation side and keep us honest about what end-users actually experience.
In under a year we've shipped two products (AsymmFlow, Ananta), experimented with mathematical patterns that work their way back into the products, and built a working studio practice that runs on email and direct customer relationships.
Where we are today
AsymmFlow runs procurement and finance for PH Trading in Bahrain. Ananta handles everyday knowledge work in 23+ languages on Telegram. The studio operates out of Goa with customers in Bahrain — and we are unfunded and intend to stay that way.
Where to go from here
Asymmetrica is registered in Goa, India.
